No Love Song For You

I could write a love song,
but no love song would do.

You are so incredibly special,
just because you're you.

I know not how I made it without you,
for now you're everything I see.

You say you would not have a life without me,
but where, without you, would I be?

I will love you forever, and while I know that sounds cliche,
I feel that these are the truest words I will ever say.

Shakespeare once said, "To Thine Own Self Be True,"
And I must say I know not where I'd be without you.
